With a passion for plants and gardening, David wants to share his knowledge and practical garden know-how. His training in horticulture and teaching, together with over 30 years experience in journalism and working with holiday companies allows him to combine a love of his subject with an ability to communicate with gardeners in an enthusiastic and entertaining way.

With the aim of helping gardeners to improve their practical gardening skills, David presents a diverse range of Short Courses and Masterclasses. He also presents on stage at BBC Gardeners’ World Live and Garden Fairs.

Learn more about plants and how to grow them – from beginner gardener to seasoned grower.

David presents a varied programme of popular talks to garden clubs around the country. These are available at club venues as well as via on-line platforms. He is also able to put together half-day and full-day masterclasses for local groups.
